A Difficult Path

Read the Consecrated Scroll and speak to Aramis Hammerhand in the church in Deathknell.

While you were off dealing with the mindless Scourge, this scroll arrived for you. It reeks of the light, so I imagine it's of some importance to a paladin like yourself.

Read it before heading out again. Just please--step away when you do. Paladins make me quite uneasy.

Through pain comes resolve.

Your training can now begin in earnest, <class>. I see great promise in you, but take care not to turn away from the light, even for a moment. Embrace the pain it will cause you. That pain is a crucible, and you will emerge from it stronger than you ever were in your previous life.
